20-APR-FRIAll boats start at 11:00 Our next weekend race occurs just before the weekend, on Friday, 20 April, all boats starting at 11:00 A.M. It's an all-day affair, what with the sail down to Oil Platform Grace (off Ventura) and power-sailing return to Santa Barbara. This race is one of the year's most unique events, well worth giving up a Friday at the office. Because of the start time is earlier than normal, Dock Time is 10:00 a.m.

ReplyDeleteToo bad we had to call it. Let the record show Mark was the optimistic one! Pat's suggestion that we never make a call like this from the comfort of our homes: we get ourselves down to the boat, and sitting on the hull, decide. I think, when it comes to rain, it always pays to be optimistic. Mark wins this one!
