Go Giants!!!

This life-long Dodger fan is now a balls-out Giants rooter, just like he was the same for the Yankees last week. The last two nights were like back-to-back Christmas eves!
I just hope I don't jinx the Giants like I jinxed the Yanks!

I guess I shouldn't have worried about that!

  1. I hear they are going to let W and Pappy through out the first pitch for Game 4.

  2. I think they have 'throw' in mind, but I prefer "though" a lot more!

  3. Though I thoroughly thought this through, I thought they already threw the first pitch.

  4. I just about forgave the giants for leaving NY. No way can I route for Texas.

  5. Tim: The real Giants only moved across the river to the swamps of Jersey, where they are alive and well. There, we root for them on route 3. Or tree, as many say. I love New Jersey

  6. Love for New Jersey, I would consider a natural love. Love for Texas? Not so much....

  7. W was born in Connecticut. I don't know why he pretends to be a Texican.

  8. Funny. He's the only one in the family with a twang. The rest of them speak regular American.
I met Jeb. He seems to be a normal guy. Love that they nick-named the sister "Doro". My mom's name is Dot, which seems to be farther fetched.

Vladimir- love for New Jersey is indeed natural

  9. The Rangers have a connection to G. W. Bush, the Giants have Brian Wilson's beard. Those are the two best reasons I've seen in years to root for any team.

  10. On the incentivity scale, I would not place GWB close to BW('s)B.

  11. All in all, a pretty good start to the week: San Francisco wins the World Series and California wins an election!

  12. Yeah! Pretty much of a sweep here. The two witches got the broom!

  13. I don't ordinarily care much for sports so I didn't care one way or the other but seeing that picture...man, THAT put a smile on my face.

  16. Some things move me to act. That picture of W did it. I visit your blog to satisfy my interest in sailing and other interesting tid bits ie dogs playing with dolphins etc. And I enjoyed seeing the Giants but after 8 years of W I don't need a daily reminder of this sad man.
