Sevenstar RBIR

Tune-Up Now!
A Quantum Leap in yacht racing simulations: now currents are added and overlay winds!

It's not as nightmarish as it first seems!

Trust me! You can test it out here before you put so much as a dime down for your boat's sails!

Anyone wishing their boat to be added to our list of Boats of Interest to be tracked for this race, should indicate in comments below.

Anyone interested in taking part in an upcoming 'private' race with a bunch of fun Tigers can sign up at CreativeheART@live.no
Just tell Danny (Race Committee) that I sent you:)

Race is with standard sails and without options so won't cost you a penny. Doc, Hope to see you there?? Remember the fun we had in VORG in the Around Ireland Race?

  2. And I'm inviting you for a drink, all night long, in Londonderry. Be carefull, the bay's entry is narrow..........;

  3. Sorry, but apparently the VR Beta interfacce is currently blocked. I can't then meet and greet you at the bottom of the bay. It's now time for me to go to bed to recup some of last night. See you tomorrow for "l'apero", around noon gmt+2, same place. Good night............

  4. There was a fault with the site last night and it went off line for a couple of hours but then came back again about midnight. I think there are still 'bugs' they are trying to fix before the start of the race.

  5. I think I will be adding Moletto 1 to Boats of Interest. Does anyone know how fast she is? (I'm on my way out to party hearty & don't have time to log on to Figaro to check.) Belladonna, save me some of that beer?

  6. No problem, Doc, the booze is in the fridge. I know that, with the time difference, there might be some delay with you !

  7. Be carefull, Doc. You're going too far. If you hit the circle, you're gonna be eated.

  8. Doc! Quick!!
Turn your Beta boat around. You are almost at the finish circle and you won't be able to get back out again and continue testing the new features. I've heard of others who went too close and were caught out. Beta version is closing on Monday just before the official game starts.

  10. Doc, you can still put another boat afloat (something like Open Contaier IV). These 100 footer are cheap on VR Beta. And still be on time for the drink and the BBQ tonight !!!!!!!!!!

  11. Shucks! Why didn't I think of that! But you know me: I was never one to go for a day sail! But that's all right: maybe I'll turn today's attention to the English Premier League, against my better judgment.

  12. And, Paula, I certainly do remember that race we had a year or two ago!

  13. It's going to cost me $25.30 to play. A working man can afford to pay for them extras; and a working man can't be competitive without them!
